What's the best fuel to use?
Coal is the most efficient (8 ores per unit). Use wood only in emergencies as it's very inefficient (1 ore per unit).
How long does smelting take?
Base smelting time varies by ingot tier: Copper (10s), Iron (12s), up to Mithril (30s). Higher tier furnaces reduce these times.
